ey everyone Welcome back again here in today's post I’m going over the best battery-saving tips for your smartphone let's get started. All right to kick things off although these tips are targeted towards Android users if you're an ios user these should be helpful for you too whether you're playing games watching YouTube videos browsing TikTok or whatever else you do on your phone. One of The biggest battery killers on most smartphones is actually the screen some people love their screens super bright especially while watching a movie but having your brightness completely cranked really kills your battery. Now there are some situations where you need that brightness cranked for example if you're outside on a sunny day trying to look at your phone if your brightness isn't cranked you're probably going to have a hard time seeing the screen.
But if you're not outside and you're trying to save battery go on ahead and lower the brightness as much as you can it'll save a ton of battery. If your phone is using auto-brightness auto-brightness usually does a pretty good job at lowering screen brightness to save battery but in an event where you really need to save battery go on ahead and override it and if you don't believe me that your screen is probably using most of your battery go on ahead and take a look at your battery from your settings menu and you can see what apps are using it the most. More often than not screen or display will appear right at the top of the list and while you're here you can also see what other apps are eating your battery. Sometimes you'll have an app running in the background that seems to be a little bit battery hungry sometimes it's an app that you're currently using.
For example, if you play Roblox on your phone that's going to chew through your battery very quickly playing games on your phone is another huge source of battery use so if you're trying to save battery while playing game go into the game's settings menu and see if there's an option to turn down the graphics if there is do it next up if you're on android go on ahead and pull down the top menu and see if there's an option called battery saver. Battery saver has some functions built-in behind the scenes to help save battery life on some phones, it'll also turn on the dark theme on other phones mainly Samsung devices this shows up as power mode and it works a little bit differently. Power saving mode gives you a few different options you can turn off the always-on display you can limit your CPU speed to 70 percent that way your CPU isn't working as hard and consuming as much power you can lower your brightness as well as the screen resolution all of these options here will go pretty far into helping save your battery. Another huge battery killer in your phones are actually your radios your Wi-Fi radio your Bluetooth radio your cellular radio and heck even your GPS, if you're out and about you, 're not using Wi-Fi or Bluetooth go on ahead and turn them off. If you're inside and you're not using your phone for anything go on ahead and turn your mobile data off. If my phone battery is running dangerously low and I’m just trying to save it what I usually do is put my phone into flight mode and that disables everything and then I manually enable what I want. You can keep your phone in flight mode and turn on Wi-Fi that's not going to be an issue.
And now for my very
last tip if you don't want to worry about your battery at all regardless of
whether or not you change your settings pick up a portable battery it'll be a
lifesaver there are a ton of different types of batteries available on amazon
some are bigger some are smaller some are more expensive and some are cheaper. This
one in specifics should be smaller than your phone and it should charge it from
zero percent all the way to a hundred percent for a total of two times before
needing a recharge. This battery here is twice the size of the previous battery
it should charge your phone from zero percent to a hundred percent for a total
of four times if you need to charge your phone from zero to a hundred more than
four times in a day you probably need a new phone. No matter what size of the portable battery or power bank you go for I usually recommend picking up an
anchor. I have a few of them and I've never run into any issues. I’ll leave a
link to them in the description below if you do want to check them out also I
don't normally recommend downloading any type of battery-saving app most of
them are just data miners and they don't really do a whole lot. But anyways
that is all I've got for today check out our other Posts thank you everyone take care.
